How do I get started?

The phone case list doesn't include my phone model, can I use the 3D Tour Kit?
Unfortunately, we don’t offer the clip-on fisheye lens option now. We highly recommend using phone case to shoot a 3D tour that will have the best quality. Or you may consider Trisio 360 Camera that has 8K resolution.
Can I use the external lens bought from other brands to take panoramas with Asteroom’s app?
Yes, if it has a 180° field of view. Otherwise, you will see vivid gaps in a panorama.
I have monopods and tripods, can I only buy the rotator and fisheye lens?
Of course yes, please visit our store on Amazon.We highly recommend use tripods rather than monopods which may cause shaking easily and resulting in blurry images when you touch the phone screen to start shooting.
What's the requirement for phones?
If your phone operating system is iOS 11 or later, Android 7 or later, you will be able to install the Asteroom app. To use the Kit, your phone's thickness has to be less than 0.45 inches / 1.15 cm to be held on the rotator. For the best image quality, we recommend using a phone model manufactured in 2017 or after.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes, Asteroom offers one-year warranty for replacement. We also offer free shipping.
Can I use the ultra-wide lens on the phone and not have the clip-on fisheye lens?
Unfortunately, not... The ultrawide lens of the phone has only a 120° field of view, but the Asteroom fisheye lens has a 180° field of view.
Can I use an external lens from other brands to attach to the phone case?
Yes, if the lens's diameter is 17mm and can be screwed onto the phone case.
